*The more hydrated you are, the better the result. Maximise your own results by being well hydrated for 12-24 hours leading up to your appointment. DO stay well hydrated (2-3 litres of water a day). Add 500ml to 1 litre on top of what you normally have pre and post Ultrasound Cavatation (Fat Cav) sessions. DO stay active; 20 – 40 minutes of moderate exercise 3-4 times a week and after every Fat Cav session. DO eat a well balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables. DO limit alcohol intake for 72 hours before and after a Fat Cav session (as the triglycerides are processed through the liver, alcohol may reduce the effects of the treatment). DO limit complex carbohydrates for 72 hours before and after Fat Cav sessions (breads, pasta, sugars etc are stored as fat in the body and will replace the fat that the Ultrasound Cavatation has treated). DO limit fatty foods of all kinds. DON’T let these sessions replace a balanced diet and regular exercise.
